About the book
One of John’s friends has unexpectedly become a dropout, which bothers John more than he wants to admit. With his two new acquaintances, an eccentric, bearded homeless man who bathes in the nude in the fountain at the mall, and Joanna, who loves hugs and has faith in the good in the world, he comes to the conclusion that the people of the city can only be saved if television is taken away from them. John’s friend with benefits, Izzie, does not like this plan at all, although she herself does not even have a television.
